A person whose Aadhaar details would be locked then no one can access it unless it will be unlocked. For locking or unlocking the Aadhaar details one has to log in to the official website of UIADI and go to the personal account log in section. A SMS would be sent to the registered mobile number to make sure that the person owning the account is accessing it and no one else.
Once the Aadhaar card will be unlocked, it would be accessible only for twenty minutes and after the time out it will be blocked automatically. In the locked mode nobody will have access to your Aadhaar details and your biometric information will remain highly secure. If a person is not watchful for the security of Aadhaar card then definitely it is at risk, but being alert and attentive can save the confidential data.
